I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet. When you open the door the window goes down about a centimeter, then when the door is closed the window is put back up. I noticed it becuase I heard the door "engaging" I guess is the best way to describe it. So I stepped out and opened and closed the door a few times to check it out.

Pretty interesting

That there are 14 bolts holding the plastic engine cover underneath. Found this out when changing the oil for the first time. Definitely getting me a drill bit socket adapter for next time. Oh and that Rhino ramps will scrape the crap out out of the 07 fender. Luckily I had a 'spotter' that kept me from doing it.

That every button that has a function either for something electronic or something mechanical has the little bumps on it like braille. Originally my wife asked me about this and I told her the buttons were for blind drivers so they knew where everything was. It took her a couple of seconds.

I discovered that the whole z snaps apart expecially the back pannel all the way up to the door and side pannels. I was amazed on how this car snapped to gether it was like putting a model back together. I found this out when i installed my system.

Also gotta go outside and try the windows thing!!!

Are you sure about this? I don't think this works. Turning the lights on requires you to manually turn the light switch. Has this worked for anyone??

yup, it's true. it takes like 5 minutes or so but the headlights turn off if the car is off.

battery-saving ftw!

anyone have a strange squeak that sounds like it's coming from the passenger's seat whenever they go over bumps with the passenger's side tires?
it's driving me crazy trying to figure out what it is

alot of cars are made with the snaps these days, obviously it allows for less production time per vehicle increasing the profits. I like it becuase it makes it easier to remove interior body panels.

i still think the window thing is super cool.

Thats about it, I looked in the manual and found both trunk releases on the car, and found out I can drop the windows with remote, I do it every time I get to my car, love it! I still love the sound of the exhaust....power has started feeling a little on the lighter side, wish I had TT's but I do like the fact my car is almost paid off

how do you make it go auto up???

I think he means the opposite of using the fob to roll the windows down, I think you can put the key in the lock turn and hold to roll up all the windows automatically. I'll step outside in a few and see if it works on my Z.
