I wish my stability control was smart enough to override my traction control in that circumstance. .. ie if the steering wheel is straight and the throttle is at or near 100% and the yaw sensor isn't detecting any sideways motion, then I probably intended to lay down a 2nd gear scratch and it shouldn't cut power.

I guess it is probably because traction control and stability control are two different systems. If Nissan had only offered a full stability control option it probably could be smarter and have better 'sports car' tuning.

Ya ya, I know I could just turn it off, but I prefer to leave it on. I know it can provide un-human / outstanding assistance under dire situations if called upon.
You're confusing two totally different functions. When you lose traction, TCS kicks in and cuts power. VDC (stability control) does most of it's work via brake application, cutting power only when necessary.

If you want it smart enough to allow wheel slip when driving in a straight line, then turn VDC off.

For the silent alarm. press the lock and then unlock at the same time... the lights should flash three times without the sound. on my 03 its keeps the funtion until you press the unlock and lock at the same time.

Engine: Flawless.
AT: Flawless.
Cooling system: Flawless.
Reliability, in general: Above average (though not excellent);
Electrical system: Good, 'xept for the power window glitch.
Body integrity: O.K., 'xept for the hatch door struts, and the gas door latch release issue.
Final appraisal: I'M KEEPING IT TILL DEATH DO US PART!!!

Well, I bought my Z without test driving it first. My Dad test drove it and said everything was fine, which it was. Until when I got in it and found a long receipt from a collision repair shop with like $3,000 worth of damage. The previous owner must have "accidentally" left it in there for me to find. Well, no problems at all since a year ago. Should have checked the carfax before I bought

-Found out what happens when you rev without air filters. (Cool as ****, but don't do often)

- The 3 little dots are everywhere EXCEPT on the lights for 06 to 08, they have 4 dots which I found just off compared to the rest of the car. Looks nice still.

-Of course window down, just an accident. Window up, I just tried last night! Freaking awesome.

Roll down the window without going into the auto function. Roll back up, also without going into auto function. Once window is up, hold for at least 10 seconds. You can then count an extra 1-3 seconds while holding the switch in auto and reset the distance the window will automatically roll down when you open and close the door. You can also us this to reset the switch if the auto function on the window starts to act up.

Also. they have window switches to where you have to pull up on them to roll the window up so no one accidentally presses it ansd rolls it up on some little kid...

..It's happened
ummmm, why would some little kid have their head in my car without my knowledge? sounds like they deserve getting a window rolled up on them.
