is the black latch behind the passenger seat used to open the hatch from the inside? Or is that button behind the passenger seat in the little compartment? Cuz ive tried pulling the latch in the trunk and I can't get the hatch to open....

DON'T PULL THAT!!!!

jk. If you're talking about the one in the center of the back of the passenger seat, it's just an alternative way to tilt the seat forward. So it's easier to do from sitting in the driver's seat.

I learned where to find the tow hook and how to use it. Haven't needed it.

I was a little annoyed to find out that the a/c switches to outside air instead of staying on cabin recirculate when you turn off the air conditioner. The Z doesn't have a cabin filter so all of the nastiness outside (exhaust fumes, roadkill, sewage, burnt foliage etc.) comes into the car without it being set to recirculate. I live in Fl btw...

Not being able to stage at the track without removing the brake light fuse is pretty ghey too.

It took me a full half an hour to figure out how to open the trunk when I brought it home on 2/24/2012 (first time Z owner). I also found a small rust spot in the rear wheel panel after I drove it home from the dealership........so pissed.

The ONLY thing I learned when I bought my HR-Z was that I made a good purchase.

why?

because I have a DC2 integra in my garage with a k20a motor.. a GREAT swap for a honda car. VERY quick.

WELL, I ran what would have been my car - another integra with a k swap with kpro, exhaust and everything I would have done to my integra if I didn't buy the HR-Z.

I was completely stock and like i mentioned, he had full bolt ons with kpro(ecu).

he got out half a car the whole race but at 120, I started pulling back when he let off.

I was MORE THAN HAPPY.

I learned that I got the faster car WHILE BEING STOCK.

I told dylan that when I get full bolt ons, we are re running again so I can put busses on him.

Thank the GOOD LORD for the HR motor.

That's what I learned after I bought my Z.. I made a good purchase.

I found out that if you don't tell someone that your car has six gears, they spend a half hour killing it trying to back out of a parking spot before they call you and tell you your car is broken.

The day I got my Z I let my father drive it. He hadn't driven a MT in almost fifteen years, needless to he thought my transmission was messed up until he realized he had to push down before he went into 6th.

That the inner plenum had sand all over... ftl.
That the OEM HU would eat up your CD... ftl.
That the doors would try to break your leg if you're not careful... ftl.

That the Z attracts some attention... ftw
That the VQ sounds sexier with bigger exhausts... ftw.
That the Z is much much more fun to drive around the circuit... FTW

2 10/12" subs and grocery shopping alone and using the passenger seat as a trunk isn't to bad =]

The only things I didn't really know about before getting was the stopwatch and that you can set the rev light to come on whenever you want it to.

It seemed like the previous owner took the interior door panel off and didn't put it back in right. it rattles like crazy, has broken areas, and missing couple of screws. it's really annoying at highway speeds

Sounds like someone had a window motor go bad.

My driver's side door still doesn't fit properly. Even after all that time I spent punching it in frustration.
