Does anyone know what all this involves? How about a "do-it-yourself" project? I fear taking vehicles to dealerships & I work for one, in sales. Over the years I have seen to many nightmares happen back there. I am willing to put the time & agony into the repair. That way I can make sure nothing is dented, scratched, breathed on wrong, etc...Any help
would be appreciated! Ciao & see some of you @ 06 ZDAYZ

I would not do it myself. Here is the recall link info from Nissan. You can do it yourself but, it will be a pain.

yeah i had mine done on tuesday. took the whole damn day. they said they had to remove the fuel tank, transmission, rear axles and brakes, etc. i accidentally had a full tank in my fuel tank and when i picked up my car, it was only half. i guess thats my fault
guys
take a look at the recall sticky on the top of the page
also nissan has recalls on 90% of their vehicles now because of the bad rubber. they also have to recall maximas and altimas for a bad aluminum strut brace.
