Talking Lets open some presents...

so I guess I started xmas a little early. I already opened my motordyne 5/16 spacer w/ iso thermal...

and my new key (which I paid $20 for) and remote (which I paid $10 for)which I got off ebay waaaaay cheaper than the stealership. I'm also getting the key programmed by a local locksmith who has the equipment for it and he's only charging $45. for those of you who only have 1 key and need another one, or those with 03 Z keys who want the chrome nissan emblem I highly recommend going this route.

spacer increases plenum volume and provides better air flow to front cylinders
as i understand it. the Motordyne spacer has been shown to produce upwards
of 10hp gain on the non-revup motor. if you are using the revup motor you will
need to go with the MREV mod by Motordyne.

the spacer alone when installed on the revup motor will not produce much of
any gains. just do a forum search on MREV and you can find more information.
it can be purchased though www.performancenissanparts.com or directly from
Motordyne engineering.

here is a link to the post I wrote up about buying it. there are also links to the partshipper.com website. they are a motordyne vendor and I would highly recommend talking to dave. he's on here somewhere. he def has the hookup. although I think that they are currently on back order.

+1

between the cai and the 5/16" plenum spacer the car sounds like an
animal at WOT. Tony over at Motordyne is a really good guy and the
products are awesome. well packaged and top notch quality.

The '05-'06 model Zs offer different cams, lower plenum and assorted tweaks to get a slight HP boost up to 300. Of course, this slight boost comes with a tradeoff: the so-called 'rev-up' VQ35DE gives up some torque lower in the rev band in comparison with the '03-04 'non rev-up' models.
