Yeah, didnt feel like driving a modified civic type car...just my opinion. I respect the STI. plus if you were to look at what kinda girls are attracted to what kinda cars, then you wouldn't really want to deal with 18 yr olds....****! i'm 28....

My Z was 10 Grand more than the STI (ZR with an Auto), So cost want the issue.
I had several issues at the time;
1, I already have a 4 door performance car (Souped up S40)
2, I wanted a small sports car that was similar in shape to my 2G Eclipse
3, I realllllllly Liked the styling of the Z, Especially the ZR.
4, I wanted a Convertible.
5, After looking at the EVO and the WRX, I fel the Z was a better constructed car (especially the interior).

I bought the ZR mainly becasue I was looking for a convertable. The STi is still high on my list of the next car to buy, but I wish I can order a STi without the huge scoop and wing. Or better yet, Subaru can find different designers to work on their styling.

No! it makes me giggle!
Well actually the Z made me giggle like a girl while hte STi made me want to grunt like a ape. Although the STi is 'fast' and the first few HP are easy to attain, its not too great as a daily driver since its so damn raw as a rally car. Also, its fugly, expensive and costs a lot to maintaine + insurance

STI is factory rice, and the z actually comes with a radio. What kind of a car doesn't have a radio? I understand it is a racing type car but the one i looked at had AC but no radio. I think the ac would be heavier. I don't know if the no radio is standard or what but the one i looked at was used and had no radio (no places for speakers either so it wasn;t ripped out, it was from the factory like that)
