I guess I'm the ultimate newbie...I just received my Z yesterday, and this is my first post after lurking for several months.

I went to the dealer on 12/30, and was actually able to take a short test drive in both an automatic and a 6MT. I decided to go with the 6MT, but couldn't decide on a color or model. The dealer had a Silverstone Performance with all options except the aero package due to arrive in mid January. I was able to put a deposit on the car, fully refundable if I didn't like the color, etc.

I got the call on Tuesday, and once I saw the car, I had to have it!

The VIN# is in the high 11,000's. Some observations so far:

Virtually no orange peel in the paint.
No rattles of any kind.
No obvious alignment problems.
No shifting problems.
Glad I didn't get the Bose system.
My coffee shop stop in the morning takes 20 minutes longer due to the attention.

This is without a doubt the best sports car for the money that I've ever driven. Thanks to the forum members for making the decision so easy. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
