Point is if the parents were leaving threads we would tell them how their parenting skills need improvement but they aren't. You younger groups are. You asked for an opinion so take it maturely good or bad and try to understand all sides of the discussion! It's just a proven fact that when you work for something via school grades, a job, whatever you appreciate and take better care of what you have earned. Once you have lived in the real world and have to pay for rent, elct, water, gas, car payment, ins, food, ect. and even have a kid yourself you will never TRULY understand responsibilities not when it's handed to you! So just take the responses for what they are worth, JUST OPINIONS and leave it at that! Stop pulling ego, feeling, testosterone and other crap into just a discussion or you will go back and forth ALL YEAR LONG! PLEASE everyone stop fueling the fire with attitude and TRY to leave a somewhat nuetral response(opinion) We are all one big happy Z family!!! Can't we just get a long damn!!!

If i was a dad I'd not mind buying a crazy nice car for my daughter but for my son he better work for every penny of it...

WOW so you would buy the car for your daughter because she umm is a girl? But for a boy he has to work for it?

Knock Knock its 2007 time to wake up, women can and do make just as much as men and should also be just as responsible for furnishing themselves with nice things if they so choose.

While I agree with you 100%, the male brain is physiologically and significantly different that the female brain. It's scientific fact, especially for teenagers. You don't often hear of teenage female drivers dying in street racing accidents for a reason. A "boy" who has to work his **** off for a car is more likely to take pride in, and be more protective of a nice car than will a "boy" who gets handed the keys by mom and dad. "Girls" tend to treat cars however they're going to treat them, regardless of how/where it came from. There are OF COURSE exceptions to every rule, I'm talking generalities of our culture/species as a whole.

It's not because you're young and drive a Z. It's because you can't spell, don't use punctuation or capital letters, and your grammar sucks. You also seem to crash your cars into anything and everything, causing everyone else's premiums to go up.

Broad, sweeping generalizations, I know. But, that's why.

That part of the brain is not fully developed until about age 25, which is WHY young male drivers are so risky. They're "physically dispositioned" to be reckless. Don't shoot the messenger, I just deliver the facts.

There's not a general hate towards teenagers who "OWN" Z's. . . . it's jealousy. I'm 25 and I could give a **** less if I saw a teenage kid driving a Z. Why can't they have fun with a nice car. If they wreck it then they wreck it. . . .lesson learned.

ROFL.... 21 pages, i read some of the pages.. but the answer is easy.

old people work their **** off for the car, and are jealous that other people gets it at a younger age.

19 here, made 4 payments on time and in full already... i own a 06 touring roadster (39000 out the door, insurance prepaid for 6months, pay for my own gas? LOL)... no1 help me with ****, and no1 can say **** either cause this **** is new and under MY name, not my parents. i love the pride of shutting old jealous fart when they asked if that's my daddy's car... ROFL... why didnt u stay in school or find a better job? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh, and me not having my name on the title is no big deal to me. As long as I get to drive my car and enjoy it, I'm happy. I respect my car and treat it with care. Just because I don't have my name on the title doesn't mean anything to me.
lol and when youre a bad boy youre daddy will take it away, haha.
reading the comments from the kids takes me back. i kinda sorta had a similar world view when i was that age. (ie "stupid oldtimers")
i however have paid for every car i've ever owned. i wouldnt have it any other way. if i could go back and get a sweet z (whatever was hot back in 98-99) for free from my daddy i would not take it. i've always wanted to make my own money and have my own things since my first part time job at 13. i've never understood kids being comfortable being spoiled like that.
i wonder if the kids getting these cars for free even have a concept of how much money ~$30k is. (how many hours are worked to make that money)

if you're name is on your title and you dont live at daddys house- CLAP YOUR HANDS!
