Falore Nissan in Sunnyvale only 24.99 for an oil change. I've gone there for mine and have not run into any problems. My car has 37,000 miles. If you supply the oil it will be like $16.50 or somthing like that.

Watch out with Falore Nissan! If you did not buy your car there, they are likely to treat you badly in the service department. I complained to the Nissan phone hotline, and was told by the rep. that she also got the feeling that Falore does not want to service cars not bought there. She recommended either Stevens Creek or Magnussen's.

Also, once, they sold me the wrong oil filters in the parts department.

I would stay away!

Interesting, I didn't buy my car from them and have got nothing but good service for the past 1 1/2 years.

Your own garage. All you need is the standard jack that came with the car, an oil catch pan from Autozone, and a wrench with a 17mm nut (I think it's a 17).
Don't forget to park on a FLAT surface so you don't die. You won't have to remove a tire or plastic to be able to get under. And if you're a girlie girl, get a boyfriend who knows how to change oil.

+1 You need a 10mm and a 14mm socket. Excellent how to write up here.-

If you are looking for a regional shop, post in the regional forum. Regional posts in regional forums. What a concept!

Don't go to Capitol Nissan what ever you do. It will take hours, they may lose your keys, they may or may not call you when its done but even then, finding your rep to get your paper work may take 20 minutes or longer and just when you think you might be home free, you may stand in line for what seems like days while three cashiers help one person who has some impassible problem.

If you do it yourself:

Don't use the jack in the trunk, that is for emergency use, it is weak and there have been reports of them failing.

If you don't want to buy a good jack (I recommend a 3ton or better and jack stands), you can get Rhino ramps, it's quick and safe.
