hey guys quick question, when you change your stock mags the tire sensor light always stays on and or is disabled,what to do????????

 

are you re-using the tpms sensors?

 

they say you cant re use the sensors????????? any ideas??

 

The sensors are in the valve stems. Did you have them re-use the valve stems?

 

can they re use those and are you sure that's where they are?

 

yes, you can re-use those.

 

That's the first thing that my sales guy told me. He has a Z, and he sold me my last Nissan, so he knew I'd be replacing the stock rims.

 

so if you swap your factory 17's for aftermarket 18's you can reuse your stem and the tps would work? someone please answer this ? i have searched for a while and cant get a good answer.

This seems to have been discussed many times before but with no real answers. Hopefully someone will chime in with some helpful info...

 

You can resuse the TPSM that are in the valve stem only if the rim your changing to will support the stem. Volks for example will not work. Just get some nice rims and forget about it. Light comes on only after driving on a long trip. Check your pressure manualy every so often and enjoy the Z.
