Default What more do you get with an ethusiast?

I've been eyeing several 350z's that are used '04 350z's the only problem is the dealers don't really list what package it is.

Bascily I'm looking at an

'03 thats a enthusiast with leather, 25k miles, 24k

vs

2

'04's coupe base, 10k miles, 25k

So I'm alittle torn, both the 04's have cloth seats too (which I would really perefer cause it doesn't get old/wrinkley and crack).

Alll manual transmission of course.

Spend some quality time at Nissan USA site for learning about model differences.

Information about the out-of-date 350Z is difficult to find. For the best list of standard features see http://350Zforum.com/. Look at FAQ.

With no LSD, only one wheel spins.

With the Enthusiast, you get this extra than the Base Model. FYI< Enthusiaist is the best bang for the buck!

1. LSD
2. Cruise Control
3. HID
4. TCS
5. Vanity mirrors
6. Aluminum pedals

The TCS and LSD alone are worth the extra $!

When buying new I would beg to differ about the enthusiast being a better bang for your buck. It's too close to say either way. Besides the MSRP, you end up paying extra for the LSD for as long as you own the car, thanks to increased insurance premiums (because of LSD). If you buy a base model and have LSD installed after the fact your insurance will stay lower. And while you're at it you have the chance to get a better LSD than stock.

I would say to anyone asking about the differences of of differentials to get the base. Inexperience, LSD, and a high powered sports car do not mix. Most people don't even know how to drive well enough for the LSD to ever even matter. A lot of other people think leaving 2 black marks is somehow cooler than just one. Check out all the people on this site who have done curb/guard rail checks because they were clueless. It's kinda sad to see so many wrecked Z's.

Cruise control = your right foot.

BUT this guy is buying used....and the enthusiast is cheaper because it's older and has more miles.... it's still a toss up.

I'll have to ask my parents, as they are agents for State Farm. I've never heard of that myself, though if certain aspects save you money (ABS, Daytime Running Lamps, etc) I guess its not out of the realm of impossibility for certain aspects to increase the cost.

If you are going to spend $25000.00 on a used car I would think pretty hard about about spending a extra $3000.00 and buy new. I bought my 05 Enthusist in about July for what I remember was about $28000.00. It might have been a little cheaper than that. With the 06 out you might find some killer deals on some 05 now.
