Default OEM Brembo Rear Caliper Question

i recently bought oem brembo set off an g35 and putting it on my ethusiast 350z. got question. everything fit. front got no issue, but im just wondering for the rear calipers. there are two bolt hole that is on the caliper itself. its on each side of hole were you put the brake line into. not talking bout the mounting bolts. just wondering what are those two bolt hole are there for. the oem setup does not have any mount for it. cAN anyone tell me what are they for? i seen some pics where there just two bolts that are on em. sorry if i confuse yall.

There for a bracket that bolts there. A hard line comes out of the back of the caliper that bends around into a block and the rubber line hooks to there. If you are going to use aftermarket stainless steel lines you do not need to worry about it.

My stainless lines still utilize the bracket.

My StopTech ss lines didn't required that bracket at all, I just hooked up the caliper line to the inner wheel well connection. I took the plate off and put the bolts back in to keep dirt out of the threads.

Not same topic, but similar.
What are the dimensional differences between early front Brembo calipers and '06+? My friend bought a used pair he's assuming will fit his '03, but he wants to confirm before taking things apart.

In looking at Grimreapers photos, I notice you are using SS lines on the rear brembos. Where did you get them from? I've seen Agency brand on ebay, but it appears that Z1 Motorsports sell similar-looking ones that are much cheaper.

Your setup using the bracket appears to be the safest way to route brake lines especially for front brakes where there is a greater chance of the lines rubbing or chaffing against suspension components.

heh.. i took that picture (that BY350z posted) back in 2009.. Good to see it is being put to good use... and interesting to see how it just floats around on the internet and makes its way back to My350z.
