It has been a while but yes I have hit the speed limiter on a solo I track before. I prefer that not be the reason that I had to back off. BTW in West TX 135mph on a 2 lane is fairly common. Roads are straight. Nothing to hit but a scorpion or a tarantula.
.

Laughlin AFB Runway 13/31 A long time ago 1995-1997. Also would go into Mexico, go across Amistad Dam, off federal hwy 2 there was some rather nice roads that the local police and federalies let the local motor heads race on. Not sure if it is still the same now but you could run WFO from Langtry to Sanderson with less than 1 in a million chance of seeing another car let alone a Sheriff Deputy or Texas Ranger.

Speed limiter is a configurable parameter in uprev.

Keep it rubber-side down and on the track, friend.

it’s 155mph and its coded into the ECU.

You would need to take your car to a tuner and have them increase it to, say, 300mph via uprev? Send your ECU to Uprev and they can do it or go full standalone ECU.

I dont think youre going to hit 155mph outside of a very very long straightawy with OEM power levels.

You need an Uprev flash to remove it

From my understanding, you cannot remove it (in it’s literal state). You have to increase it to something batshit crazy that you’ll never hit …

splitting hairs? Yes … I do apologize

Yes you are correct. I usually just bump it up to a comfortable 300 mph

In stock form, the Z33 will be hitting a speed limiter in the aerodynamic drag it encounters above 140 MPH. There's no SCCA solo course that will allow that!

I had mine removed when I was haltech piggy back for the 1/2mile races … but only hit 150mph with that particular setup … I think the 150mph to 160mph requires 600hp build
