You wont get much joy on this website, most people on here didn't know there are any other countries apart from America.

I'd say go for the UK spec. Less hassle long term.

Good point. That certainly does exist here.

Would warranty of any kind play into the deal? Can you get a UK 350Z with factory warranty?
Another question is how long are you planning to keep the Z, if its going to be a good period of time then insurance is a recurring cost that I would try to keep at minimum. If you want to save some quids on insurance then wait for another UK Z that has lower mileage.

Welcome. Just a suggestion for the future. If you have a question specific to a region, post in the regional forum. Your post will get more attention.

No, its probably part of Canada or Mexico I think. I just know it's a really long drive to get there.

Well im planninf on keeping the car for 2 years so all in all it works out cheaper for the less miles import also next year my insurance will only be 3100 for the import with 1 more year no claims and another year under my belt.
Im 19 that is why my insurance is so sky high but i love the 350z so much its worth it.

That's kinda what I was thinking.... take the money you don't spend on the car to help you with the insurance if all else is equal. I always would rather have a lower mileage car when I buy used.

Good luck !!!

From my very limited knowledge is that thre are different specs for 350Z in japan. I have just imported one and its rounf 11,500 pounds, 02 mode with 26,000km on the clock. It comes with VDC and heated seat too. So if u got time u should look around n may find some goodies.

Then again getting it local would probably saves a lot of hassle like hadnling the shippin n customs etc.

Oh n also the suspension settings are different between EURO/USA to Jap models. Jap version are tended to be a bit stiffer n lil bouncer. Please correct if I am wrong on this. Cheers
