Yeah I have an '06 and it makes the same noise. There is a moving part in there, so I'm not surprised! BTW, I am really impressed with the headlights on this car! To me, they look almost as good as the lights on my friend's S2K. The cutoff is fairly crisp with that slight blue fringe, and the brights are adequate. The light spray is also fairly wide as they were set by the factory, which helps me to spotdeer and other hazards near the road.

I also agree that you can hear the noise from the inside when the car is off and the windows are up, but it's not very loud. From outside of the car, especially standing right next to a headlight, it will be easily audible. I don't know about your dealer, but they might just tell you that the lights are working fine, so there is no problem. At least around here it seems that if a dealer can avoid doing some free work, they will.
