I had a bunch of compliments but I think the best one came from my gf. She said:

"Babe, I think the 350z was made to be modded. Most japanese cars look cheap when modded and exotic cars aren't suppose to be modded, but the 350z? It really needs to be modded to look extra good."

I met an old college friend for dinner a few weeks ago and she said "how did you afford that car". It still amazes me that people think Z's are such expensive cars when in reality, my car cost less quite a bit less than her Chevy Impala. I've heard a few comments about how nice or expensive it must be.

I've had the Z for two months now and I must say that I love having a car that people actually will do double takes on.

 

Went to play paintball today. And one of the kids that works there goes up to me and says " hey that's your z, it looks really good. I wanted to ask, are they any good, my neighbor wants to sell me his 04 with 85k miles for 8500."

My reply, " ur 16 right?? Yeah the car gives me nothing but problems, transmission chatter, chugs gas, Damn slip light coming on, and high insurance, since it would be your first car I don't recommend it"

I was once driving my Z down Malibu and a Bugatti Veyron pulled up next to me at a set of lights. The driver lowered his sunglasses and..... Ha ha .... Most of the sex stories in this thread leads me to think folks have been reading too much erotica. Yes the Z is va va voom, but the stock Z in the year 2012 isn't turning heads no more. With the banged up economy, folks are going cheap on the compliments...

 

This past Sunday, I drove to a place with my friend checking on his son's well-being at an all teenagers center. As I was waiting in the lobby for my friend who went in to spend time with him. One of the teenage boy came out and told his friends/counselors loudly, "Did ya'll see the (color) 350z there?" They all then started to stare at the car for a minute then the boy went back to his place. I was playing Angry Birds with 0 volume throughout, but my almost 9 year old car is still getting compliments spoke volume to me on keeping the car forever.

 

After helping a friend move, I was walking back to the Z to leave and this older black lady goes (verbatim)

"OHH UMMMMMMMMM HHHAAAAAAA, BOY! THAT IS A SWEET GRAVY LOOKING CAR!"

"OHHHHH LAAWWWDDD THAT SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN!"

 

Best compliment I got was from my 92 year old grandfather.. he said "holy ****"

 

Sunday after dinner, an older guy waved me down in the parkin lot-what color is that? gave him color code- he will paint his 67 Chevelle he is working on Daytona blue!! Said I have a gorgeous car!!

 

other night since i put my aftermarket front on with no badge and the rest of my bodykit!!!! guy and lady come up and say sweet ride "what is it and how do you drive it when it sits so low" they walk around and "O its a nissan?" i tell them thanks and proceed to crank my car!! at this time the lady says "i haven't ever heard a car sound like that!!!" i respond with a little bark as i drive off leaving the woman loving it and the fella jealous as hell (lol) man i love my z

 

"Can I take a picture of your car?" Is what I usually get from kids.

 

Had some lady yell out her window while I was pumping gas, "that's a beautiful car!"
Also, another Z owner caught me as I was walking to my car to ask about my wheels...he was losing his mind because of the color and the fact that they are not replicas. Made my night because no one cares about things like that around here.

 

A customer at my work comes to my window and mentions that he saw me get out of my car in the parking lot. Then he asks me: "Is that a Porsche?".

Made my day...

i had just waxed my car yesterday and got a compliment from an old guy in an suv then later that night a guy with an evo 10 thought my car was newer than his and complimented my paintjob. well worth the extra washing effort.

 

I always see some kids around the block riding bikes. I park my car on the driveway across my house because its abandoned. One day i went to get something out of the car and i heard one of them say "wow thats the car he drives? and the other one responds "yea isnt it so cool".

Another time a coworker comes outside with me for a smoke and when we were about to hop in the car she looked at me and said "Wow this is your car?" With a type of face as if to say who are u and what are you doing driving this car?

The best one so far was when I was rolling around with my girl and her big titty friend in the passenger seat. Whenever u can have 2 hot girls in your 2 seater you are automatically winning. Some guys pulled up next to me in an accord and stared me down with this hard look. The light turned green and they started trying to race me, they would gun it then slow down to get next to me then gun it again. I ignored them and just smiled and kept rolling. They seemed upset and maybe jelous i dont know but then i turned and they kept going. I saw them put their hazards on as to say they beat me and won the race, funny thing is i wasnt even trying to race. lol

Also, when i had my mustang i was driving down the expressway and a car full of girls got next to me and start waving and smiling. I rollled down my window and waved back, suddenly the boyfriends were in a car behind them and they got next to me and tried to run me off the road. It was crazy!

 

Neighbor from across the street: "yea, you need to start parking backwards so i can look at the front of the car for a while"

 

Stopped for gas the other night at Food City and before I even got out I noticed the gas station attendant was walking towards me. I start thinking that the pump I was at was not working and she was coming over to tell me. She came up to me and said "Sir, I just came over here to tell you I have been working here since October and I have never seen a car as nice as yours, is it a Porsche?" I told her no it's a Nissan 350Z and she said "I have never heard of those before is it new?" I told her it's a 2005 model and she told me that it looked like a brand new car. Haha made my day! Before I left she told me to take care of that beautiful car and never sell it.
