I agree, I don't think PNP's was proactive at all. I was on the phone with them for the past 3-4 days on my late order and NO ONE SAID A WORD! I just got the letter in the mail today. It's pretty bad when you hear about it on the internet before you hear it from the company.

 

Ditto. I found out because of this forum. I haven't even received the paper letter yet.

 

I received my letter today and had my credit card number canceled and got a new one. Now I have to call some other Co's to notify them of the situation. If these hackers only use their talents legally, they would be better off!

 

Bummer the cyber attack discount code didn't apply till yesterday because I just bought a spoiler from you guys over the phone a few days ago while the server was down and i had absolutely no idea of the hack

 

I have never recieved a correct order from PN now my two of my cc get hacked. Sweeeet and Ill never be back to the site.

 

I do digital forensics for the gov. So I see a lot stuff like this. Its just a perfect example of a company not practicing adequate due diligence. They should have begun notifying people as soon as it happened. I shouldn't have had to figure it out by coming onto the forums. They'll never get my business again and I'll make sure no one around here goes with them anymore as well.

i had it canceled today.

 

I canceled my card yesterday and haven't seen any fraudulent charges come through. Hopefully I'm safe.

Also, I haven't seen any paper letters in the mail.

 

Personaly i prefer websites that DONT STORE YOUR CARD NUMBER.
I can take the dam 10 seconds it takes to input it in every time.
Most sites let you select dont store number wich is what i do every time.
When you save it, your creating a rather nice jackpot for some one to attempt to jack.
