You're 19 yrs old and looking to buy a $30k car? Save your money unless you make atleast, atleast $50k/yr. Full coverage insurance, tires and brakes (you're going to have to replace those soon if you drive like me) plus the fact that you may want to move out of your parents home soon. Get something you can afford, go to school and plan a future.

Lancer EVO IX owns the STi, in looks and modability. Ask anyone who's in the know. Mod for mod the EVO will gain more horspower, and the stock turbo is capable of upwards of 400whp......not the stock STi turbo though. The EVO absolutely owns the STi in Time attack events in Japan as well. If you've ever seen the Hyper Rev meets that they run at Tsukuba the EVO's absolutely dominate the event which pits EVO's vs. STi's. It's actually quite embarassing. And the JDM STi's have a far superior 2.0 liter engine than the USDM pos 2.5 liter. Don't get me wrong the STi is a nice car if you are going to keep it stock, but if you're gonna mod you should go with the EVO hands down.

good lord a z at 19. i was still pushing my 83 pulsar when i was 19. but no hatin here if you can afford it do it. plus that sti wing will make a good shelter if you do move out of mom and pops place. its split level living.
