I'll never hurt my car like that or dump the clutch, and besides have no clue how to do them.

I know howto or have done it, but never again. Just bad for the car and not needed.

I can do them fine, mild peelouts are nice for show, and it belongs to the sports car culture.

When you do a drag they say to heat up your tires. I dragged for the first time (at the track) and I don't know how to do a proper burn out. I guess what I did technically was dump the clutch. What's the other ways to burn out?

I dont do it all the time but ive layed rubber a few times in the Z. It was honestly more fun from standing in my 93 mustang. As for being immature.....well guilty as charged.

I have done them on more then a few occasions, especially at the strip to warm up the tires before the tree. It is not something I normally do, but on occasion when at a show or something a couple of short burnouts & doughnuts can be fun to show off the power of the car.
KoolZero: If you want to know how to warm the tires at the strip, search the DRAG section. Personally I just preload and dump the clutch until I get to the tree, but that is the amateur way. Read the threads in the DRAG section for much more professional advice

Being capable of doing it is part of your responsiblity as a sports car driver.

A burnout is very simply.
1. Rev the car to atleast 4k rpm's
2. Dump the clutch
3. Immediatly place you left foot on the brake
4. Vary the pressure you place on the brake and the throttle, you should find that you can stay in one spot with the front wheels moving very little or not at all and the rear tires will roast.

Did a handful of burnouts with stock tires, but not on with my 19's and NItto's. I have been known to throw a little screetch though when I'm pi$$ed. But burnouts, no. Too much $$ invested in the Z.
