tried the search but didn't come up w/ anything. last couple of days, my A/C just decides to come on on it's own. first time it happen, i was on the freeway doing about 60mph and the A/C kicks in full blast. i look down at the A/C ****/button and it's clearly on the OFF position. i think nothing of it, but it happened again later on the day...just driving and sucker kicks in. i do notice that it tends to happen right after i go over a bump (ie change lanes on freeway or small bumps on streets). this morning it came on again at full blast then w/o me doing anything it shuts off.

i'm just curious to see if anyone else have had the same problem.

This happened to me yesterday, for the first time. First, I turned the AC to OFF. It went off then came back on a few seconds later. I turned the AC dial slightly counterclockwise (more OFF), and it went off and stayed. I have my eye on it.

 

It will kick in if your vent is on defrost. That's normal.
Will
