Just got back from an oil change......
Well now I have a few questions.
#1. I have the well known window problem that it rolls down 3 inches after I auto close it. They said its not covered under warranty since its an adjustment things bla bla bla (the want 92.50 to press the reset button on the motor lol) I can def do this correct?
#2. They did some checks on the car and one thing they said was my tires show very slight feathering. They said it needs an allignment. I thought that due most 2003-2004 Z's had feathering and that this was done under warranty? Am I wrong?
#3 This is what got me. They also said that my injectors are crappy and they can do this special cleaning of the throttle and injectors bla bla bla which is like 275 bucks. Something about getting better mileage. They said it cleans all the deposits from everything around the injectors and other parts which I do not remember. Is this necessary? Did anyone do this thing? Sounds a little legit but then again sounds like they are trying to make some money off me.
The other things they said was I need new front brakes soon. And this I agree and will have to buy some aftermarket pads since the OEM ones blow and cause too much dust. They said 275 for the brakes I think. I think I can get some better aftermarket pads that wont cuase that much dust for around that price am I right?
Thanks

I hope you only paid for the oil change and left! Check your oil to make sure it has been changed! Sounds like they wanted to take you for a ride.
1) Yes they should have adjusted the window if you're under 36k
2) Alignment isn't covered under warranty, feathering should be if you have the feathing problem.
3) Ah... the old You should... spend your money! No you most likely didn't need the service.
Do your own brakes or go elsewhere! I wouldn't go back IMO!

thanks (yes i only paid 26.45 for the oil change and left)
Now back to the brakes... i went to tire rack and did a search on this site and found that the Hawk HPS are good pads...
Dumb questions but what is an axle set... that means left and right pads correct? =P I mean damn they wanted around 300 for just fronts when i can get a axle set for 90 at the tire rack... which means i can find them cheaper even somewhere else

Yes an axle set is a set of pads for the left and right side of either the front or rear. I have the stock pads and so far I haven't noticed much dust at all. After market pads with less dusting shouldn't run you any more than 100 per axle.
for 2004 model, alignment is covered under warranty.
search this forum, it is mentioned some where, and actually I asked
the deal (Capital Nissan, san jose) to do it under warranty once.
At first, they told me that it is only covered the first 60 days or so,
but I told them Nisan announced it, and asked him to check.
And they came back with "yes", it is covered and did it.

Thanks guys.... i mean im not a dumbass when it comes to these things I just wasnt too sure.
As for the breaked 275 for just fronts is crazy.... i mean i can change them myself... if they want almost 300 (without labor i think) ill just buy the Hawk HPS for 65 bucks and do it myself....
