Default Silence is Golden Or is it? Reverse and Keys..

Howdy up top,

I just got my Z back from the $tealers.

The Beeping sounds have been driving me up the wall.

I have had plenty of cars, and NONE ever continually Beeped whilst in reverse.....except a Very large truck I had, but that was external, nit internal.

I drove a Murano, That sounds ONE Beep when selecting reverse, That I could live with....But I digress.

Also I always leave the Keys in the car. I'm in OZ, cars just don't get stolen where I live.

So Instead of the usual open the door and have Fifty Beeps sound off, rushimg you to get in, Sit down and shut the dam door. Then select reverse to get out of the garage, again with the BEEPS.....Hurry get down the drive, oh wait there are cars...beep . beeep, come on put your foot down lady, these beeps are driving me insane, finaaly onto the road, quick faster. Stop, select first...AHHHH Silence at last.

After you are fully stressed out and pi$$ed at the beeps.

At last peace.

WELL ENOUGH.

No more. They have been YANKED. They are CAPUT. Ceased, ended ZIP, Nada, No more.

Just pure silence.

Now to make you laugh your a$$ off, I actually have COMPLETE Silence......Even Whilst Indicating....LOL

I don't care its quiet and I love it. LOL

My turn signals/Indicators make no sound when they flash now. LOL

I am laughing, I really don't care.....Silence truely is Golden.

The only sounds I want to here, is the Revving of the motor and the screaming of the Passenger and tryes.

The good thing is, with a silient car, I won't need to take my meds anymore. J/K

Wow...sounds like something we don't have to worry about here in the States. Glad you got your peace and quiet though.

Hey Ky Z,

What don't the US Zed's have all that Beeping crap?

When you open your door and have the keys in the ignition?

And when you select reverse?

Any way its peaceful now.

We have the beep with the keys in the ignition and the door open, as well as the lights on and the key out of the ignition. Both those beeps I am fine with.

As for the others, never heard of them.

Hey ZmaZing,

I have no problem with the Lights left on. I had best check that is still there.

Reverse is just plain annoying.

Ciao.

Yeah, we don't have the reverse beepeing; that WOULD be annoying. It's pure stupidity to leave your keys in the car in he US, so it's just habit to take them out as soon as the motor is shut off, so we tipically never hear that, either. Just the lights on with key removed beeping, but that one is helpful.
