Went ahead and filed a complaint against the company that sold me a defective hood. I could have lived with the hood but not trying to rectify the situation jsut made me upset. I was called constantly to make the sell but once the sell was made everything stop. When I complaind by e-mail and by phone I still have not gotten a response. The city councilwoman even e-mailed the company and they still have not responded. It is a shame that a quality business would think that every customer is the same. I expect quality equipment and service during the entire process. I urge anyone who have had problems with a company to file, that is the only way changes can be made and the business of aware of what changes need to be made. It works out for both parties in the end. The real reason I filed is because so many other are having the same problem and it needs to be fixed. If no one files then it will not be fixed.

Part of my job consists of responding to Better Business Bureau complaints and I will be the first to tell you that it doesn't do anything for you. They will never force a company to do anything. They only file a complaint so if a customer is researching a company or an investor is interested they can see how they handle complaints. Most companies are not even members so it doesn't matter. Do yourself a favor and chalk it up or take matters into your own hands and do some research so you can bug the **** out of the owner of the company until your situation is resolved or if need be small claims court. 2 cents for ya, by the way the name of the company would be great so no one else here has to deal with the same bull****.

Well out of the group one of you read my signature. Bashing is not a good thing. BBB just lets the business know there is a problem and to address it. They do resolve some issues because I have used them in the past. The company is Stillen. This is not the first time they shipped a hood or bumper that did not fit. If enough people complained they maybe they could fix their molding machine. I like the hood it looks great but it should fit the same as the stock. They are probably unaware of the problem because no one has complained. So if you want to join in about thier hood or bumer let me know and I will give you the number. Also I complained about their customer service. It ended once the sale was complete.

^ I've never seen any stillen representives peek their fat head out in any forums. There are countless people that are unhappy with their products and services. They should be Kissing your booty with all them stealin' parts, they plainly don't give a squat about their customers.. plain and simple.
