Default wow....what a surprise...

so i was drying off my my Z this morning and i get see this great and awesome surprise.....my first chip....but no its not on my front end..........its on the aksdljfasdkjfasldf drivers side roof!!!!!!! and to add i cleaned my rims.....and what? theres a little itty bitty crack.........terrible day

Cracks spread prety quickly. Have the dealership check it out and ask for a replacement. Stock rims are expensiver than the highest quality racing rims lol

Yeah, that should be covered under warranty since they're so new. At least try, what do you have to lose, .

If it makes you feel any better some douche bag in a Porshe Boxter flys by me on the shoulder of the road the other day and throws up a million rocks and put about 6 million rock chips all over the front of my car, and its black to boot. Some people are so ignorant.

oh i didnt know that it would be under warranty....didnt think of that yet....i was going to go to the dealership for sure though since im completely unaware of how it progresses, at least in a rim....

you guys think that itd still be covered if im not even at the break in point yet? im like at 500...

....man sorry to hear that...the fool was probably just trying to flaunt his porsche, haha.....assuming its as bad as one can imagine all those rocks flying at a car....you gonna repaint it? get a new front end?

Yeah.. I was driving on the freeway today and i saw little pebbles flying towards my hood and I freaked out Hopefully it left no mark. After i got home i went out and checked but nothing was there. Phew

A stock Rays Engineering 2003 forged rim is about $1700 each depending on the store. Where I live, due to shipping and taxes they are sold at more than $2k each. Those G35 and 350z Rays are underestimated jewels. I'm glad I got mine at the junkyard! hehe...

well called up metro nissan and got the rim replaced under warranty no questions asked
