It too new I think. I would think it is just slightly higher than a 2005 trade in value. Why do you already want to trade it in already?

+1. Pricing guides such as KBB have yet to collect enough data to publish any numbers.

That might be too low, but then again you do have 14,000 miles on it. I have 17,000 on a 04 so.

We traded in an 06 base model 2 weeks ago with 6000 miles, and we gave the guy $23k...

I'd wait a couple months and put it up for sale somewhen towards the end of August...with the movie Fast Furious 3 out, the popularity of the car is going up, resale value should increase once more people watch the film...same thing that happened to the Supra when part 1 came out, true value of the Supra skyrocketed over book value

Here's a flash, folks.

Dealers buy cars wholesale, and sell them retail.

If you want to get retail price, then you must sell it yourself.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of car dealers. But they aren't going to pay anywhere near retail for any car. If you really want to know the going wholesale price, take it to several dealers and ask them to make an offer.

Or if you have a CarMax near you, get a quote from them. They usually offer as much, or a little more, then most dealerships.

My best buddy was a salesman, he was told to leave your morals at home. Dealers will make money by the price of a new car, trade-in and financing. He told me the shorter time you own your new car, the more you lose. Your better off selling it yourself, you'll definitely get more. If you have time, its your best bet. As for the Supra, I hope my Z value goes up, but Supras are very limited compared to the Z.

I traded in my 03 Miata for my Z. I got 13k for it, and I found out that it was sold for 13k. I was literally shocked that they basically did not make any money on it.
