Default Front License plate

If the Zs on the lot have front license plates on, does this mean that the bumber is going to have a hole in it?

If there is two screws in the plate then most likely there are two holes in the bumper. That is my unprofessional opinion.

I refused to take delivery on a car with a front plate attached, amazing the dealer was eager to not put a drill to the next one I negotiated with them on.

There is a company that sells "bumper plugs"... seriously -- you can get them factory paint matched.

I made my own license plate holder that uses the tow hook receptacle. I'm in the process of making another one for a 2004 owner.

I'll post pics later.

i purchased a license plate holder bracket off ebay and it worked wonders. it will go in the slot where your tow hook will plug in. it took me 5 minutes to install. no holes in the bumper now!

Sorry didnt mean to sound retarded or anything. There are ways of doing it without holes, like with something hidden in the grill. Just thought I asked becasue the lot i went to, they all had plates.

It's a real shame to have to ruin the good looks of certain cars with a front license plate.

Besides the "Z", the Pontiac Solstice and Mitsubishi Eclipse come to mind. I was joking with my friends about moving to Pennsylvania just to beat the front license plate issue.
