Wow it's good seeing how far my car has come in a year.
Since this thread was resurrected I figured I would post updated pics.
You can make the G35 anything you want it to be.
Luxury head turner one minute and Track burner the next.
Granted the G35 is a little heavier but I needed the back seats.

Oh the car is now sporting APS TT

Autox with Wheels I use for track.

My big @$$ talking with one of the instructors

My same thoughts .... except I like the Z interior a lot !!! IMO the G only has the backseat over my Z. Since I have other cars with backseats.... the Z is perfect cause I don't want someone else's kids in my backseat messing stuff up anyways. Lol !!! I'll let them mess up the back of the Sable or Pathfinder thank you. Z's are for driving/racing not for passengers.

$10K could buy me a nice S/C for the Z. However, I've taken that $10K and put it in the race car now .... Doh !!!

For sure that's a nice G however.... There bank in that car. Not a bad way to spend an extra $30K. ;-)

I bought a plenum spacer off a g35 guy a while back. We went for a quick ride after the install and he couldn't believe how fast the z felt compared to his G. I couldn't believe it cause my Z feels so SLOWWW, almost like its not running right. Mind you this is just a "feeling" and can't really be used in an argument, but common sense would tell me that a few extra pounds with an increased wheel base wouldn't allow for any performance benefits unless comfort is considered that.

I love both cars; I was set on getting a G35c simply because I wanted backseats, sunroof, and admittedly I think the G looks better than the Z in some respects. But when I got a chance to sit in a G, the interior turned me away. Not that it was bad, but because it just didn't do it for me like the Z did.

Now that I have my Z again, I am 100% happy that I went with my true love

Simple for me, I was in the market for a G, couldnt find one, so I "settled" for a Z, lol. The best choice I made, my buddy has a G coupe and when I drive it, it doesnt feel right for some reason! Its like Ken & Ryu from SF, same moves, but I get my *** whopped when I play with Ken, but can beat the game with Ryu, lol.
