but with that said im not one of those people.
but thats just because ive had my Z for almost 4 years now

but thats just because ive had my Z for almost 4 years nowI wish we had some sort of idea what was coming, like the G guys. At least they know what they are waiting for. I am just waiting, and continue to be tempted by these new engines..
I think buying a G at this point is a mistake, since you know not only are you receiving a new engine, but a revised chasis, interior, etc.. basically a new car.
At least with the Z you are going to get the HR engine and the end of the line, so you should be good in terms of reliability.
Still seems to people on this site waiting and waiting who have never even owned a Z.. The 07 seems to negate all excuses except the old waiting line

I think 08 Z will look similar to this:

T-top and shorter and smaller.

Is the Urge the answer to the huge fan base asking for the Silvia back?
any specs on it?
www.7tune.com, is a site that has an article on the next Silvia even though the article is kind of old it was interesting (The site is down right now for remodeling).

nissan has confirmed they are working on a production rwd car to go under the Z in price.
edit, I hate posting that without a link it goes against everything I stand for but its a year or so old and I cant find where I got that, maybe sport compact car.

think about this 07 g35 stayed the same because its on its way out the new g35 coupe is on its way ,but 07 350z just gets a better engine maybe its not ready for new design?!
do you relize that the 350z sells more units than g35 coupe or sedan on their own.
Why would you mess with strong sales and good design when the z is perfect and just needs more muscle. this engine is just what the doctor ordered
I just noticed on nissan news charting the changes the g35 sedan officially has 306 HP.

g35 sales have been collapsing lately though, due to intense competition in that segment and nissan's lack of an update. the new g35 sedan should have been out already, and the coupe should have come this october, but for whatever reason nissan is late.... as usual.

to keep things from stagnating and keep up with the competition.
Just curious, in general, what advantages/disadvantages do you typically get with a higher revving engine. For example, does a higher revving engine necessarily mean higher output or torque? Wouldn't larger displacement do the same thing?
Usually if you take an engine, and lets say you tune it to rev 1k higher. It will make more power, but it will have that power on the top end, and will lose lower end torque. If you need an example, drive an s2000. Larger displacement means more low end torque (vette, viper), and they usually dont rev that high, although there are a few exceptions. The c6 z06 has a 7.0L, and revs to 7k rpm I think.
