If they are both stock that wouldn't happen. I raced my friends RSX type-S with just the driver in my G35 with me and three other people in it and molested him.

Agreed but hp and torque #'s don't lie. The RSX is still down 130ft./lbs. and 80hp. Tell me how bolt-ons get this back and show me the dyno please. Better yet line up your friends N/A RSX w/ my N/A Z and we'll video it.

stock type s is slow.

slightly modded type-s is fast. ive raced my friend through all the mods he has (i/h/e) intake and exhuast made a HUGE difference on that car. Now he is just as fast as me, if not faster.

i had a type s before i got the z, I/H/E clutch/flywheel and hondata, i ran a 13.9 with a shi**y 60 foot, front wheel drive blows off the line... those cars are quick na cars with bolt ons- they react a lot better imo compared to the z.. but whatever just my 2 cents

13.9... My point exactly. All of those mods and a STOCK Z can still beat it....and how many of us here are still stock?

Some of us actually work hard to make the payments every month, gas, etc. I do understand the fact that an 18 year old should not be driving a 30k car unless he/she has the will to work up to it and buy it him/herself, an also the fact that almost all of you on this forum or any other automobile forum work hard an buy the car yourselves, an i respect you guys for that an know that i should have done the same. thats all now..sorry for the b****ing.
Hey, you know what.....you got it, enjoy it. To each their own....parents or no parents....just enjoy. Now, if you're 16 and drive a Bentley GT...that's something else.....j/k (Just appreciate your parents for helping you with that)

not sayin a RSX would beat a Z...I'm sayin to those stating they are slow that they are dead wrong. its a very quick car...

With those mods (or the ones previously noted) I would find it hard for a Z to walk a Type-S from a roll.

so i opted for the Z... sure it's not a Ferrari (360 Challenge Stradelle is my fav.) and sure it's a sub-40K car... but it's pretty, quick, and handles very well especially for what i use it for... Daily Driver... so this is my new baby, i'll invest in it where i think i would like "more" and be happy
I ment no disrespect in anyway. I agree that everyone should invest in where they feel like.

I dont know why kids that are 16-17-18 think we're impressed that they own a Z at such a young age, hell if i was 16 and my only bill was a car payment i would own a porsche. I think it's more impressive to be on ur own with a bunch of responsibility and lots of other bills i.e. rent, utilities, etc. and still be able to afford a 400+ car payment plus insurance, gas maintaince etc. We all know dang well that if those kids were on their own they wouldnt be able to afford a civic, well that's just my .02

he would have walked you if wasnt stock, simple bolt ons and it would rape you, that is if your Z is stock. I used to have a "type-slow" well modded and i ran over Z's plenty of times, not saying all just saying some being yours.
