Is waiting worth it???
So ive been debating on whether or not to wait for the new z's that are scheduled for jan 07. Just wondering on people's thoughts of whether its worth to wait for it or not?

It might not be "worth it" to get a new '07 if you can get a great deal on an '06 around Christmas when sales are slow . . .
Many times there are special incentives at the end of the calendar year.

I am pretty sure the 07 orders are being filled starting in late Spet/ early Oct. With less than two months to go, I think you may as well order the 07. I am not sure when they get delievered but wait time is usually 60-90 days.

Should be able to get $1500-$2000 off MRSP from the bigger dealerships, the smaller ones will probably stick with MRSP for a few months.. Thats what i've seen in the past anyways..
If Rumors hold true about the Z being redone for 2008 then those will be hard to get a good deal on when they first come out.

Wait! The 07 Z will be receiving the new VQHR.
Perhaps I am cheerleading, but I think this new engine is going to be great. It will have an emphasis on higher revs, and they said somewhere it not so many words they wanted to change the character of the engine which some would crticize as boring and grenadie feeling north of 6,000 to a sweet high revving bimmer/porsche esque engine.
Just wait and see. The worst that happens is you pick up an 06 even cheaper.

In Japan, the 07 Z's are getting 320hp and i believe a 7500 redline. (a little more agressive version to the new g35) At least thats what I read in Car Top Magazine(Japanese)
