Was this new SMZ ever offered for sales from either Nissan or Stillen? I never heard anything about this or seen pics of one before? Here is a link with some info and pics.

SMZ = Steve Millen Z. Stillen is just a "tuner" that has background on Zs. Just slap on the Stillen s/c and you will have your own SMZ.

 

No I mean something like how they offered with the Z32, read this article and you'll know what I mean. This is a real limited production SMZ 300ZX tuned by Stillen and then sold at Nissan dealers!

I see what you're saying, but I'm not sure if that ever actually happened. Call Stillen and ask them. I know there is nothing like that for the Z33.

 

I remember the SMZ Z32. Was the king daddy back in the day, considered a collector's item now. 1995 was the 25th anniversary of the Z, and Steve Millen produced a limited number of these special 300zx's.

It was a fairly complete package, including upgrades to virtually all areas of the car. The engine was given a new intake, the boost was upped by 2psi, and a new exhaust was put in, giving the car about 365 bhp (up from 300 bhp). The wheels and tires were upgraded, and a stiffer suspension with anti sway bars rounded out the performance mods.

The exterior was modified, most notably by the addition of a huge rear wing, but sides skirts and new front air damn were included as well. Interior mods included carbon fiber and aluminum accents.

This car wasn't for broke ****'s tho, as it sold for somewhere around 57k off the show room floor back in 1995'. Factor in a 2.5% inflation rate over 11 years, and that same car would have sold for roughly 72k today

BTW, only 300 of these were ever made.

 

yep, glad you know what im talking about. I seen a pdf before stating that stillen had revealed the final 350 smz. So I guess I could call up stillen and see whats the deal on that.

 

So cars like ROUSH mustangs. Where do you purchase those? I saw a guy in like his 40s with a new body one yesterday. The body kit and lip spoiler is amazing, it was a royal blue purplish color. And that engine sounds sooooo great!!!!!!!

 

so just like the stillen smz back in the day, what is steve millen waiting for? Make a 350z with boost from the factory, rims, suspension, and body kit, all with factory warranty. What more can you want, just a decent price tag.
