Default Shaking

Does anyone's Z shake when you are almost at a complete stop. Whenever I put the car in neutral after 2nd gear and slow down, the car shakes. It feels like its going to fall apart! Its really scaring the crap out of me.

How are your brakes and rotors? Does this only happen from around 2nd gear speeds to stop? Watch the rpm as you slow down and feel that vibration to see if it's jumping around or not dropping smoothly.

Shaking? Not at all. Other than feeling the tranny with my hand on the shifter, the car is pretty solid. How bad does yours shake? Is the steering wheel still?

I just got my car service last month and everything was fine. Now all of the sudden the car is shaking. I'm going to have to watch the rpm when I slow down.

Define almost at a complete stop? I know my Z has a bit of a rumble-shake being a V6, but its no big block V8.

I noticed (compared to my old BMW), that my shifter shakes a bit at idle, but its normal for this type of car.

It starts to shake about 3 seconds before I'm completely stopped.

But is it shaking like a heavy vibration or a violent shaking? Maybe your wheels aren't properly balanced, you have a bent rim, or something.

might want to take that in to the dealer... let them deal with it. as long as you can replicate the problem on a test drive.
