Default 350z vs. M6

So last saturday i'm driving home from the Hurricanes game in Miami, im driving northbound on i95 at about 9:15 (left the game early) annd i have my buddy in the car with me. I was doing like 70, and my friend tells me there's a new M6, the guy is going a little faster than me, and is like 2 lanes over. my friend is a big bmw fan so he asks me to catch up to him so i get up next to the guy and roll the window down and we both give him a big goofy thumbs up, so he returns the thumbs up and revvs his engine. now i know i have no chance but i was up for the beat-down, so were doing like 75 and i downshift into 3rd and hit it, and i jump about a car and a half but i think he was just giving me a head start. Anyways i shut down at about 115, and he was about a football field length ahead of me, or more, and i was speechless, so was my buddy. So after that he slowed t let me catch up, and i told him his car was fast(just in case he didnt know), and we did a few more short runs like that before he got off at his exit, but wow that car is awesome! and he also still had the paper tag on, so he was doggin a brand new car. Thats all.

M6's are seriously fast cars, with a serious price too hehe. I think they are in the range of 12 flat in the quarter mile, considering they weigh 200-300lbs less than the M5 with same engine.

My Buddy's got a Dodge Viper and a BMW M6... he took me for a cruise in his M6. Holy carp... he's a hella good driver... but still, I think I got a little blue around the gills.

Yeah... M6's are freakin' fast.

I believe the M engines are prebroken in at the factory, so technically it wasn't "brand new"

I saw a speed channel report on the M cars and when they drove the M6 in the autobahn in germany without the speed limiter, the guy hit 190 plus without braking a sweat. No drama at all. That is fast! Plus, they rev really high too. Supposedly the engine is similar to the ones they use in their F1 cars.

The thing i love about those m6's is that they look like they would have no problems running errands, and then find a deserted, windy road and just open it up. Here in redmond you see the occasional ferrari, or lambo (was even lucky enough to see a red enzo once), but those cars always look like an animal at the zoo.. caged up and sad, waiting for the "wild" of an open track.

yea those things are great looking cars, they have that M button that gives them 100 more hp temporarily like champ cars (i think its those)

and dont think they are broken in at the factory, my dad had an M3 and he had told me there was a break in (i was in the car when we finally got to it, was either 1300 or 13000 i dont remember, but i was like hey dad your broken in .... WHHAAAAAA FROOOOOO WHAAAAA

When the you buy a new M5 or M6, it is limited to 400hp. Then after 1500 miles, you take it back to the dealership. And they make the little M button funtional and you get your extra 100 horsepower.
So, the guy smoked you with 400 hp. Imagine when he goes back to the dealership to get his extra 100hp, he would have smoked your @ss even worse

my bet is he might have had all 500hp, a freakin football field! no way 400 hp would do that. i had paper plates for about a month, i had around 2.5k on my ride. but none the less i would keep my Z and put a tt and down payment on a house before i got that car, not worht the money for me, but i'm sure that dude had plenty on $$
