Default 350Z vs. XLR-v

my father just bought an 06 Cadillac XLR-v roadster...the thing looks fantastic and the whine from the supercharger sounds great...just for fun we took it out and my 06 Z to see what would happen...of course I was destroyed (s/c V8, about 440hp) but one thing I did find, the Z handles alot better than the XLR

i have never been a fan of caddy's although the v series does seem promising. Good death although it was to be expected. For the money he spent on it i would have gotten something else

What does that car cost? Somewhere from $85-$100k?

i thought retail was aroun 100-110k, deff not worth the money, buy a Z06 and slap F/I on that and you should still have money left over, and a lot better ride.

You can buy a Z06 and trounce the V stock. I wouldn't bother Fi'ing a car that does mid-11's in the 1/4 stock. Whats the point really?

I'd rather have the lower $ Chevrolet Corvette version.

Z06 is alot faster and alot cheaper, but how many vettes do you see everyday? IMO, the XLR looks alot better and you barely see any of 'em...regardless, ill post pics when i get a chance

XLR is a sweet looking ride. However, I would still take a Z06 and the $$$$.

XLR does have some pretty clean styling, but if I were to pay $100k for a car, I'd get something else (pony up a few extra for a 997 Turbo).
