How can you say that turbos have NOTHING to do with the exhaust?? The are driven solely by the exhaust.

Anyway, read here. Its called anti-lag.

Some cars pop out the exhaust like this by accident or due to poor tuning. Others are tuned specifically to do this.

allright i've heard enough the way boosted cars have after fire is due to the fact the as rev's increase so does boost pressure and fuel..... now you can tune your car to handle mad boost and when you turn the boost down or atmospher changes you run rich towards the top of the rev range and when you shift or let off you have fuel running down your hot pipes and it ignites.... now in an n/a car you can do the same but that requires your fuel map to be changed and increased in the higher rev range to protect from over-rev and thus your get your boom(after fire) or you can do it the way i did take out your secondary o2 sensor and run test pipes when the car warms up drive it hard rev match down shift and you can also get the flames........ if you ask me tho its over rated looks nice in a dark canyon that about it.........
