Touring Owners
i have a Base on order i got a good deal on but the more and more i read i know the Touring model is the one i want. only problem is the huge price difference. i'm gonna pay $26,100 for the Base and the MSRP for the Touring my dealership has is $34,614.
anyway, it says on InvoiceDealers.com that a Touring models' invoice is $29,258 and i was wondering if anyone on this board thinks i could get near that price for that car and what you all paid for yours.
the most i can afford is 30K, maybe a few hundred more.

well to be honest, I think you may have had a slim slim slim chance at 31 possibly, remember they get dealer hold back too. depends on your area, demand, and number of Zs on the lot. but alot of your bargaining power went out the window since you already ordered one... why haggle to sell you a touring at a discount when they are getting way more profit by giving you the base?
you could try another dealer and haggle there, but only if you can get out of your current order.
another option would be used.... the economy is in the *******, its the rich spoiled guys driving the touring models, a few of their portfolios might have taken a hit recently and made them sell their cars... a few hundred miles might get you a few thousand off. an alternative to consider.

Depends on your area. I have a touring on order and will be getting it for $200 under MSRP. I recently called my salesman and asked if they would knock it down to $1000 under MSRP and go the answer of "No, you can come in and pick up your deposit if you want."
Oh well.
Oh well.
just looked at your location, your not exactly in the heart of any where, of course neither is mannish boy
so you might have just as good of a shot as him, neither areas are likely hot beds for 350Z sales, go a few miles out of the city if it helps too.

I got my Silverstone Touring with ALL the options for $34,048 (did not include the sales tax). I orginally ordered a touring with minimal options, but they got one in with all the options and I told them that I would only pay what I was going to orginally pay for the car I ordered. They said yes and I now have the NAV package and everything else for basically free! They still ripped me off, but not by as much. It was near the end of the sales month and they needed to move it...I think.
