I can't wait. I have moved down to Florida from chicago and I am carless. I don't have a super big need for a car. As I work from home and grocery store is not ever 5 minutes from my house (which by the way rocks, first home i bought my self. At 22 i think i did quite well for my self. Only possible in the U.S i love this country. I just moved to the states 6yrs ago.) Any who any what. I thought a 07 C6 do the trick, but every time i look at a Z i dunno i just want one. I think i zee a white Z in my future. lol.

Well, put my order in for an 07 DB GT Z. Charcoal Interior with 6spd. Only other real option was nav which I declined. No pricing was available as of this past Friday. I was really thinking about the Solar Orange and wish I could have seen one IRL, but the pictures just looked too "Sunkist" orange for me to order blind (loved the old Lemans...). I had an 03 DB Z and really loved the color so I stuck with it. Dealer said it may be 3 mos unless they happen to come across one already made (low likelihood according to him).

Looking through the brochure and this site (dealer useless for info - I had to tell them the car wasn't going to be the same as 06 about a month ago) I believe the Z will retain the single pipe dual tip exhaust. It is not completely clear from the brochure, but there is no mention of a true dual exhaust and a NISMO picture in the back shows the old NISMO exhaust option. I guess this is fine but I am a bit dissapointed based on the G35. I'll replace the pipes anyway, so it won't matter too much. It also looks like the non-nav will retain the center door per pictures in the brochure.

Thanks for all the help here - great info. Been awhile since I have driven a Z since I traded my 03... can't wait to get back in one...

Don't put too much stock in that 07 brochure. If you have an 06 brochure and compare the 2 you will see that those are simply just pictures of the 03-06 with photoshopped hoods. It's all b.s. so if you see something that looks similar to an old design whether it be the exhaust or the nav etc... don't game yourself. Just wait for it like the rest of us, and then make up your mind.

I'm looking at pictures of the '06 and '07 interiors and the area around the Navi looks different ... Like they do on the new G sedan. Am I imagining things?

Pictures taken of the exhaust from the autoshow also shows a single pipe.

I think someone sid in the past that the car at the auto show was an 06 with body and light upgrades to make it look like an 07
but i can't prove it, soooo guess we will just have to wait and see

Nissan has failed to provide us with much info on the 2007 350Z and they have failed to even give us pricing information for it. It's 2007, and we still almost don't have a full concept of what the car is to be!!!

Now what about obtaining one? It seems like when they do finally come out (which is to be this January sometime) that people will have to wait until possibly March of 2007 to finally be in it and driving? I take it they won't be sitting on the lots anytime soon?

I've waited 3 months thinking they would let us know by the end of December 2006 (still cheap brochures and still no clue on pricing) and now I have to wait another 3 months for them to deliver a car that I can actually drive! Why can't they just release their cars on the lots like every other company does so everyone is happy.

The year end sales promo doesn't end until the 2nd. I wouldn't expect to see an update until after that. Then if they don't, shame on them.

What a shame! I'm sure some will start looking for other alternatives and it already is a short model year. Buy the time you order or just see it on the lot, the '08 will be here, or not? Like other good members have stated: no pricing, can't drive to feel the difference, the new hood, albeit cosmetic,
ruins the lines of the car. May grow on you but nonetheless, it still has to. Also the numbers, even with new system, you'd think Nissan would have given a little more oomph. Don't know the reason but the delay has certainly not been welcomed. Oh well.

could there be something wrong with this new motor? Or something else.
