For what it's worth, my dealer told me mid-January delivery; I'm in Tulsa OK.

I think our real concern should be weight of the car and not engine. The Z possible engine is fine as it is in the G with the dual intakes and such.

The weights are listed in the brochure. (check the scanned images a couple pages back) If I remember correctly, the 07 touring is 3405 lbs.

I hope they attack the weight in the next generation. 3400 lbs is pushing it.

We will be getting ours about the same time. Don't think any dealers can get them any sooner. Could be wrong

Don't let them get you all worked up man. You've been waiting long, we all have. nnanet.com doesn't show what week stuff is to show up, just the month. Dude is trying to blow smoke up your a$$ to get you all hot and bothered. It's merely foreplay to the (sale).

Damn, that would suck to be carless for a month. I've been saving for so long I don't even have to trade my car in like I had originally planned. I'll prolly sell it to some poor sap for twice as much as a dealer would give me on a trade for it. That's just more money to mod with, woot.

so this means that the 2006 models will "unique" in a way. it will have the updated exterior looks and interior, but with the old engine... where the 2007 will have the updated looks and interior, with the new engine. (besides the 07 hood)

seems to me like nissan through this engine in the 2007 models as a last minute dicision, or meant to have it in the 2006 but couldnt do it until 2007. why else would they change the Z for 2006, then change it again for 2007?

Hey, a fellow prior crx-owner. I used to have one too. Does the z not remind you of a CRX, but with b@lls? To me, it has a lot of the same feel. Wife thinks I am nuts. Honda should have made the new CRX like this z. But they went Del Sol

My CRX had more space in the hatch than the z though! Well... before the two 12's went into the rex.

Someone wil have to take an 07 to he scales. The 06's actually didn't weigh as much as everyone thought. They were 50-100 pounds heavier than the previous years. Hopefully the 07 is the same.

Question

Ok need some advise on the 07? I had planned on buying a 07 in April or may because I graduate in May. Problem is I turn 25 in June, so should I hold off till June and get the discount on insurance and save a little more or should I just do it. I have waited since 03 for this car and can put down a little over half on the sticker price. I don't mind waiting a little longer, (what's a few more weeks compared to the years I have already waited) Just would like some feedback from the other future 07 owners.

Cheers

Kevin

Get it as a graduation present for yourself. I tend to appreciate my belongings more when there is some significant symbolism as to what it represents. You can always drop insurance and pick up something cheaper or just have your policy adjusted to reflect your age change.

Ya you got a good point.

And it seems to fit cause i got my last car when i graduated HS 6 Years ago. LOL i know i know, 6 years

But No loans and no payments after graduation what so ever. So i think it's fitting that my only payment be on a sweet 07 Z.

Cheers

Kevin

O, any one know where the hell the 07 catalog is, none on the east yet? WTF

I already have springs from a friend of mine so my car will be dropped !! Tanabe Df210 from the G35 coupe. 1.7 front and 1.4 rear. It has softer spring rates then the GF210 but looks like it will ride smooth.
