I would have to say dealing with Nissan is very anoying. First the dealers are very bad trained. The Car is not available and that hood...... Well it might grow on me once I see it in real. But who knows how many customers Nissan might have lost be that time. I would love to buy another car, but the Z is a super hot car. Too bad the Company selling it can be as good.

oh by the way Nissan is going to extend their "End of Year" sales...which means no Z 2007...or maybe the dealer just lied to me as all of them do

 

You might get better, but Id say ask for invoice price and then get another 1000 off invoice?

Although there have been reports of people getting below invoice, with the 1000 cash back they might not go below invoice. Maybe they will, try below invoice first and dont talk about the $1000 cash back? And when you guys agree, ask them to also give you the $1000.

 

Or man up and wait for the 07 like me!!

 

Was going to wait for the 07 but, I don't like the hood plus the extra horse power and the bluetooth in my opinion does not justify the $75 extra a month that I would have to pay for it. Not to mention that by the time I get one the Mustang GT 08 will be out.

PS : do you think that If i ask for what the invoice price is, the dealer will be honest and tell me what the real invoice is??...

 

Yes I think so. They will show you an invoice sheet. But double check first at edmunds for the invoice price.

I wouldn't buy an 06 now unless it was below invoice. I got my 06 for $500 over invoice back in May. If they won't deal then just wait for an 07.

 

Thanks Nismo I will take that into consideration, the dealer called me and said that they are pretty much "giving away" 06's....Of course I asked how much are they but he couldn't tell me because he was not at "his desk but if I come in he will give me details"........

Man I hope they don't do that. I was so close to buying a 2006 Base today (25,700 out the door) and if they extend it I will surely buy the car! And I really don't need the car. But I totally want it

 

I checked out an '07 today... looks exactly like the '06 (besides the hood). The car was in the backlot, not ready to be shown, so they wouldn't unlock it for me to check everything else out.

The hood is not bad at all... I found myself trying to notice it. It works well. Also, no true dual (as most of you might know)... I got under the rear and there's only one pipe going into the muffler.

The dealership is gonna contact me the moment it's on the floor so I can test drive and so on.
