The only number I worry about is a few days later when the numbers on the 1320 are revealed to us. Or the client's positive reaction when he first gets on it after a successful tune.
Yes ppl do get too wound up on the dyno numbers and that is in result from the marketing campaigns from partX vs partY. I do agree with you a gain is a gain and a loss is a loss. The only thing that become hard is when one tries to compare a given car with the same mods vs an identical one with the same mods @ a given environment and the numbers are far off.

The ECU changing the powerband according to your driving habits and climate is probably the best answer for your decrease in whp.

You can still purchase the turbonators. I mean think of how many people would be impressed and wow'd with them in your intake system. Not only that, you do get a modest gain of about 50whp and your gas mileage goes up 30%, I hear.
