350z Kills
http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?se...her&id=4944448
Sad story, a city worker being a samaritan directing traffic in an ice store was killed caused by a 350Z. It would not surprise me, if the car that spun out was a 350Z considering that a little step on the pedal can spin in wet condition. I went to work at 3:30am driving from that area, and if you don't have a steady foot, you will be doing 180, or 360. Moral of the story is be careful driving the Z in adverse conditions. Thankfully, I have a beater with traction control to drive.

That really sucks, the guy just had a baby. Crazy how quick a family's life can be flipped upsidedown. Bad news
And it was an ice storm, not store... I had a mental picture before I read the article, it was quite strange.

WOW! That is really sad. One month old, damn! I hate to see this sort of thing. I'm guessing Houston probably does not see a lot of ice though. Probably an inexperienced driver in those conditions. Either way, the driver could have been in any vehicle and I would think the result would have been the same. A widow and a child that will never know her father. This stuff always happens to people trying to help others.

I don't think it really matters what kind of car was responsible, though... it's a terrible accident regardless. Imagine how the driver of the car he was helping feels.... or how the person who was driving the 350z feels... or how his family feels.
RIP

Update: An even sadder story, he stopped 3 cars before he went back to the ramp. 2 cars involved, the black Jetta was the first accident which the samaritan helped, then the silver 350z driven by a 35 year old lady plowed into the Jetta which caused the guy to fall over the bridge. She said she applied the brakes when she saw the guy waving to her to stop, most likely overapplied the brakes. So far, no charges.
I don't think the car caused the accident, more likely the driver being unskillful in ice conditions. I drove on a freeway ramp at 3am, but very slowly and no twitchy movements. When I came back home later in the afternoon, the same freeway ramp that I drove through was closed. Thankfully, I got home driving my other car.
