Default Performance Parts Questionnaire

Just curious if everyone got the performance parts questionnaire emailed to them from Nissan? Mine was waiting for me when I logged in this morning.

Do you think this means we will be able to purchase Nismo parts prior to the cars arrival?

Default Nissan Survey

Just filled out the survey. Wow!! This is exciting. Looks like it may be possible to have NISMO upgrades done at delivery.

No email for me, but it does sound cool. Any word as to being port installed or Dealer installed?

All I want now is an oil temp guage, and maybe that red cover for the cigarette lighter that makes it look like a Kill Switch! Yes, NISMO offers them, as I saw them at one of the Japanese parts stores.

Default Nissan Survey

If you have a pre-order working, you should get the email with the survey.

Nissan doew inquire when you would like to puchase the NISMO upgrades, at delivery or after. Sounds pretty agressive to me.

Question

when did all of you who received the email about NISMO place your order for the Z?

I was wondering if buy ordering in Jan-Feb, you would get the email quicker than someone who ordered later.

I ordered mine from Tom Wood Nissan in Indianapolis on 02/02/02.

This was the fourth piece of correspondence I have received.

Jewelz350 & drivebywire,

What did you pay for your new Z? I'm in Muncie, but I'm always in Indy and I stop by the Tom Wood Nissan on occasion. I've not seen them to be overly informative as I seem to know more about the Z than them. Did you pay MRSP or under?

Drivebywire

Why did you order from Ohio instead of Indy? Lemans...that was my first choice (love anything orange). But, I was worried without seeing an actual colorchip. Bonus points to you for being bold. I'm sure it will be gorgeous no matter what color it is! When did you order? Where do you plan on breaking yours in at?

MalakZ

I am from the Ft. Wayne area and our dealership here is awful. I thought it was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to go to Indy. You are correct that the dealership wasn't as informed as I would have liked. However, my salesman was good. He has sent me some sort of correspondence every 3 or 4 weeks. They also agreed to not let anyone drive the car except the guy who gets it off the truck. I paid MSRP and put down a $1000 nonrefundable deposit. I also requested that they call me at work as soon as it arrives because I will suddenly be coming down with some sort of illness which requires me to leave immediately!!!
