Z owners=too cool to look?

When I wave or nod or give a thumbs up, I always get sumthing back.
But I don't make such gestures at just any Z!
You have to first look at the driver and see if he/she is the type that would gesture back or not. If he looks like a stuck up b---- with a pole up his a$$, don't even waste ur time...

Anyway, I have noticed that the young guys have the Coupes and the older guys like myself have the Roadsters. Working on moding mine beyond the Volks GTVs with 4-inch depth. Looking for a spoiler that matches.
But I always smile and wave at a fellow Z driver.

nice day out here in philly, i switched my winter wheels off(again) went for a quick drive. pass a Z that was waiting to pull out of a shopping center and give a nod but didnt see if he returned it.
So he pulls up beside me and i look over and wave and nod, and then promptly pull my hand back inside the car cause the guy stonewalls me. Doesnt even attempt to acknowledge me. We then pull up at a light right next to eachother and nothing.
to make matters worse he had one of those DUB logo's on the back...but was rolling on stocks? blehhh.
dude definitly thought he was the ish or something

A real enthusiast will always wave if he or she is looking in your direction.
I always wave, here in Charleston there are alot of roadsters and they are
usually the ones who don't wave. No problem though, because I also wave to 911 owners, ferrari owners and corvette owners and amazingly enough they wave back!

i havent really read this whole post...but when i used to drive a wrx...everyone I saw with a WRX would wave and just give a thumbs up...its really weird...but cool.
when i got the 350z, i just get more ppl looking at my car and dont see as much 350z drivers but when i do see them they dont wave.

Is it just an issue of people buying Z's to use as a basic means of transportation, that can care less really about mods, looks, etc? or are all of us here just way too into our Z's? Literally out of the hundreds of Z's I have passed on the roads, maybe 2 have aknowledged me, and one of them is basha from this forum! crazy.

I bet only 3-5 percent of Z owners actually participate in a forum discussion (whether it's my350z.com or some of the others).

I don't think I'm "all that", or my car is so wonderful that It would turn me into a snob. I drive a damn Z, not a Bugatti.
I don't always give a wave. So......we have the same taste....that doesn't mean I need to look your way. Just joking.

I give a hands up wave off the stearing wheel. If they don't wave back or smile, I could care less. Just being friendly to a fellow Z owner. It's like Christmas time, all about giving, not receiving.

I always wave to a modded one and give an acknowledge nod to the stock Zs.

I was driving home from school one day when this BEAUTIFUL 280 rolls up next to me at the light, it looked brand new & in perfect condition. It was a middle aged guy driving it, he checked out my car, I checked out his, then we both smiled and gave each other a thumbs up. It was a great feeling, 2 generations of Z enthusiasts coming together lol

whenever i look at the drivers over here in irvine, they usually look bak at me wit a pissed off face hahaha. im like half way to a wave when they have that "the hell you want" face on them. so far its been like that 5/5 times hahaha. (i just got my Z three days ago)
