Fixing the mechanicals for now sounds reasonable, just get a coat of paint onto any exposed metal pronto.

Cheers for avoiding a head on collision. I have only been in one head on MVA. I was a passenger in a full size Chevy Surburban hit head on by a Honda ACCORDIAN at LOW speed. I ended up in an ambulance with only rib injuries. The Accordian driver had to be jawed out of his car. The Surburban was considered a totaled car. Hitting the guard rail is a a lot safer and hurts a lot less than being involved in a head on collision. Just yur ego and pocketbook gets hurt.

Yes, great movie, but I was never able to understand all of its subtle points. I’ve never seen an analysis, so I am frustrated by this movie. Damn the “Twin Peaks” people.

OKay so i went to get an estimate and since the bodyshop owner is a family friend the price went from 2,200 to 1,200. as far as suspension damage goes, turns out it was out of alignment and for 40 bux that was fixed. right now i got the stockers back on so its all good.

My father surprised me today by offering to pay for fixing the damages so im very luck because he will be helping very much since i am in a bad financial spot in my life right now. so im very greatful for that.

Definitely good to see you didn't get into a (probably much worse) head on collision.

Mulholland can be very risky to drive on. I was coming down from Stunt road and almost was run off the road by a Subaru STi and a Tahoe (wtf?). The Tahoe and the STi were pacing each other.

So, the other driver didn't stop at all? You weren't able to get the license plate?

Wow. That sucks big time.
You're lucky things didn't go much worse though.
Thank god for guard rails.
And if I were you, I would definitely turn this into insurance. Looks like too much damage to dip in your pocket for.
Good luck.

Okay, so my GFs dad has a friend who he is extreemly close with. He refferd me to this guy named Giro. i went to the shop and his body man (great guy!) to a look at the damage and said since its a family thing you cost is only going to be 750 to 800 bux!!! I was so happy inside but i kept my cool. he was working on a lexus when i went to the shop and he showed me basicly how hes going to work on my car. i was surprised. the time and detail he put into making the damages disappear. he gave his word that the car will look better than new. then he left what he was doing to sit down and have some coffee with me and talk about the processes he uses to repair cars. Lets just put it this way once i get my car back this weekend i will post pix and recommend anyone in the 818 area if the job is outstanding.
