I'm Coming Across a ' MAJOR ' Dilema.....!

Here is a Freshalloy.com link about pricing, seems about right. It is more than I mentioned earlier.

It also sounds like it will be January before there will be much of a chance to get one. I will have a good impression of the Z by then.
The CAR article is awsome, they seem to really like it, they even sounded like they took it up to 155.... Read the Smart car article too, it is pretty funny to here 2 brits talk about their trip through the US, same for the H2 article.

get both!!
TX,
i understand the emotions your're going though. I have thought about doing the samething. Then, while sitting on the Sh*tter, i can up with a solution. Here is what i plan to do.
I'm going to enjoy my Z for a couple of years. All the while waiting for the new Inifinti GT-R to arrive in showrooms. By then i'll be able to afford a 50k+ car. When it comes out, i will part with the Z and get the GT-R.
So i can experience both cars.

Forget G35, get an M45
If you want luxury and performance get the M45 . This thing has some ***** and is loaded with features. My view when I see the G35 coupe is BLAAHHHHHHHH! This G just doesn't do it for me. The interior is BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAH and the toned down exterior is BLAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH. I would rather go for a BMW than the G if I wanted a toned down look

What finally allowed me to order my Z was the fact that my little sister looked at the back of the G and said, "Hey... looks a bit Honda-ish to me." Gotta admit there's a bit of Acura/Honda there somewhere. I was really torn by the quality of the interior of the G though. The leather in the sedan is top notch, the service by Infiniti is beyond question, and I love the front end. However, having said all that, I love the way the Zs interior kinda wraps around you... the tach in the Z is big and in the center [where God intended it to be], and it certainly has the racy-er styling.
Bonus to the Z was the extra 7HP, the 200 lbs less weight, the jammin drive shaft, and the stylin' center guages.

This is all very subjective and based on personal tastes, but...
I drove up to the New York auto show, and had an opportunity to see both cars. The G35 was sitting about 20 feet from the Z. Looking at both, I thought the Z looked WAY better then the G35. So did my wife.
Not exactly sure why, but the G35 just didn't look nearly as interesting. It almost looked like a hodgepodge of different styles put together. The pictures of the G35 look WAY better to me then the car looked in person. On the other hand, the Z looked way better in person.
But the best reason I can tell you is the reaction from the crowd. Everyone was crowded around the Z the whole time. And almost no one seemed to even stop and look at the G35. The difference in crowd sizes around each was a factor of at least 10. Most people (myself included) kust stood there and stared ant the Z for minutes at a time. The G35 simply did not pull that type of reaction in person,
But to each his own. No kids for me and never will be so there will never be a need for back seats. Don't have many friends either

Major
This is my second post on this thread and for a second time I would still choose the Z. I wanted a 2 seater sports car, not a sorta, 4 seat sports coupe and I did not like the rear treatment. Of course the only color I've ever seen it in was silver. I saw it recently in red and the rear looked much better.
I still would not choose it because my Brickyad w/Frost Leather came in and I really like it.
