I dunno, i think if it checks out mechanically and wasn't abused it isn't bad. I wonder how strong longterm the Z vq is. This engine is used in a lot of nissan vehicles. Its not like a bmw or porsche, I would think this engine would last 200,000 miles if properly serviced throughout its life.
I need to move to where you live. There is no way in hell you are getting an '03 Enthusiast or Touring for $18.5k anywhere around here (unless its Private Party and that is still hard).
Z’s don’t sell here. Winter is too long. People drive SUVs (Chevy Suburbans are really popular in my area). I bought a 2003 when the Z first came out, but waited for the first snow storm when I was able to negotiate a big discount. This was when buyers in California were paying a premium to get one. The classifieds here have Touring models for $18.5 with appropriate mileage from Nissan dealerships.

Might have been wrecked ? Might end up putting in alot of more money as to where you could of bought a lower miles one with no issues .. bottom Line it depends on your Financial Situation, and how bad you want a "Z" ..
