CARBONLTD still has not come through

This thread will bet move/deleted and in a couple of months we'll have another thread if these hoods aren't inspected before shipping out.

Shouldn't the mods or Godzilla be looking into pulling this guys sponsorhip?!
They are so fast to ban someone for having a different opinion than they do, but do nothing when someone gets ripped off by one of the sponsors of this website.

Becuase people with opinions don't bring $$$ to this site. Vendors do.

The site could certainly do with one less though and in this case I think it is warranted.

Actually after this one it's his 3rd chance. Remember the other 2 threads?
No kidding what's with all the bleeding hearts for a guy most of you don't even know? I don't care if Jim was your best friend if the tables were turned and you were in the position of the OP you would be saying the exact same thing. Forewarned is forearmed, make your best defense a good offense, buyer beware and all that crapola. This is all about buisness practice, and frankly I'm apalled.
I don't like the way CarbonLTD and the way they do business. I have been in customer service for 5 years and this is complete BS! If I spent $700 for a hood it better be perfect and it it isn't I shouldn't have to wait months for a refund or repair

$150 isnt even the full repair cost...the op said he was going to pay for the rest of it...hes still getting shafted...imho i still dont think carbonltd solved anything...basically paying the op 150 to shut up...that money couldve been spent to ship the hood back to seibon and getting him a new hood but oh well...who am i to say anything...

How in the world did I "win". Im out $150 from my own pocket. You think Seibon kicked in a penny to help? nope.
Think about it guys, if Im willing to send him $150 on the spot, why would I not pay $85 to get his hood picked up? I was obviously under the impression it was getting picked up by Seibon. Do I feel like the defective hood is my fault? no. Do I feel like I could have done more to help resolve the situation? possibly.
You can sit here and say "his PM's seem shaddy" or "I'll never do business with him" and that's fine, but you have to understand those PM's were taken out of context from over 50 PM's between me and the OP. I was getting threats, name calling, and many other things to go along with it. I actually had to get a moderator to step in and PM him to refrain from threats.
I will continue to vendor on this site and not let a single bad experience out of hundreds bring me down.

After my previous post I am thinking about this situation and reflecting on the posts that have been made and it made me think of the following points:
(1) As someome posted ..when you mod a car there are always problems, remember YOU are altering the design of the car. The modifications must be adapted to the particular vehicle
(2) In ALL fairness to CarbonLtd ( and all vendors) if you buy something you should edcuate yourself on exactly what you must pay, what you will receive and under what circumstances , and what the vendor is obligated to do if there is a problem i.e. IF you are told delivery will take six weeks DON'T call unitl AFTER the six weeks has passed-if the product is not delivered when promised THEN complain.
(3) It is in the best interest of the vendor to satisfy all REASONABLE demands a customer makes. Take this case, how many people have said they will not buy from this vendor. Fair or not the vendor is here to make money, somethin he CAN'T do if his reputation is $hit. Remember whats' been said about word of mouth. The vendor would probably have come out on the winning side of this if he did customer relations; which is different from customer service; even if it's only PR. Again in fairness the vendor did not cut off communications throughout this entire debacle.
(4) The customer should be provided with documentation to back up any claims, i.e delivery dates via tracking#'s etc
Evertime we mod our cars we are really going into uncharted territory. Even if the mod has been done 1000 times by 1000 guys it will STILL be different and UNIQUE to YOUR vehicle.
Sorry for the long post just wanted to add to the discussion,
