Default CARBONLTD still has not come through

Im sure you guys all remember this post a while back... I really hate being a pain in the *** but this guy is a class A scammer....

Original thread
https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/250727-carbonltd-jim-scams-another-one-of-us.html

Long story short after him ignoring me for a month and all the arguing back and forth and the whole site basically agreeing with me that hood is defective he (Carbonltd) wrote

4. The OP hood is being covered under Seibon warranty and is being picked up within a few days (working out the details with the carrier and Seibon).

That was on 02/20/07... Its on the second to last page of the original thread... A few days????? Its now 03/16/07, a month later and still nothing... The defective hood has not even been picked up... I have not even recieved a call from anyone... I have a good 50 PM's of me asking what is going on and JIM (Carbonltd) saying its going to be this week wendsday, then the week goes by and he says its thursday, then another week this thursday for sure... I have been jerked around for 2 and a half months now since I reported the issue... I even told Jim, hey just give me the money to repair the hood locally $200.00 and this mess will be settled... A reputable body shop said they would fill the center wavy portion and make it perfect and Jim said no.... I am not trying to ruin his business but this guy is really getting under my skin... He even gave me a negative feedback saying I am never happy... never happy??? You never gave me any solution besides a 2 and a half month run around... Im out $700.00 dollars and Jim could obviously care less about his customers, which he shouldnt even have customers, cause hes not even a dealer.... I feel defenseless and simply abused...

Have you requested for a refund? Like refund the money now and they could take their time to pick up the defected hood?

Lol... I have requested everything and anything... This guy will just not budge... Dont you think I'de rather get a refund a buy a hood from an authorized Seibon dealer where I would feel better about the return policy or the customer service... Apparently he thinks Im just going to forget about it...

Did you try going to show stopper usa? Maybe they will take care of your problem or at the very least help.

I put Jim on ignore after the last bad review, and now it looks like it was certainly justified. Sorry you are having such a hassle with this.

I did, but all the paperwork (reciepts) are under his name so Im totally out of the loop... Its like if you buy something from Intesnse Power or any other company then sell it to me... The original purchaser would have to return it

Even if Jim is 100% right in this case I don't think that's good business practice to send your customers a pm like that.

Man this never ends. Im not handling the return shipping, Seibon is. Its going directly to seibon, they are paying for it, they are scheduling it.

I've gave all your information to Seibon to get the hood picked up. I was told on Tuesday that your hood was being picked up Thursday and that they would call to schedule a time. I followed up with them yestrday at around 2pm and was told again that it was getting picked up yestrday. I dont know why they didn't come, but feel free to call BAXglobal and ask them.

Listen, I understand your frustrated and I'm trying my best to get it resolved but when Im not the one handling your shipping return it makes it difficult.

Definitely subscribing... ...why not let him return it to you, ship him a new hood (or refund), and then you take care of getting that other one fixed? Seems practical to keep a good reputation for a business.

If I was not direct through Seibon how could I get us an almost impossible Seibon hood group buy? Think about it.

Here we go... Jim, I dont care who is handling what... I bought the hood off of you, so you should be the one taking care of it... Why didnt you just ship a hood and then directly take the defective hood to seibon... You say you go to Seibon alot so i dont see the problem... So instead you lose a customer along with many more that are seeing this show... I dont get it... You even said on 2/20 that you had a hood ready to send out... Would have avoided all this mess.
