hey everyone, im new to this site and love it so far. but i wanted to ask anyone if there are any problems with their 350z's making a high-pitched whistling noise when they get goin around 130+. if any of you guys might know whats wrong with my car could you let me know? btw i dont wanna hear things like you shouldnt be going that fast bla bla..

Haven't gone that fast yet, but my old 300ZX use to 'beep' when I hit 120. Maybe the whistle is just a warning.

Go tell the Stealership that, they'll just laugh at you lol. But anyways, my car does the same thing but through all gears when I'm flooring it.. It gets REALLY loud once past 120mph and pedal to the floor. I think It's just the intake sucking in air. Try doing it at night when It's cold, and it gets louder.

 

hahaha cause my friends have m3's, m coupes, m5's and one INSANE evo, so when they go 150+ im not gunnna trail along at 100 . (btw we do this on clean empty freeways if it makes anyone feel better)

 

YA thats exactly what happens with mine haha, but i figued something was wrong with mine cause my friends G doesnt make that noise. and ur right the stearlerships just laugh at me when i ask them lol

 

Mine does! Listen at the end of my video in my signature you can hear it. I think its just a high pitched whine fron the wind getting by the window seals. BTW mine need replacing at anything over 100mph they get loud lol...

 

did you and a cold air intake? i used to hear mine wine under acceleration...but my exhaust noise covers it up now...i cant hear anything now lol
