I paid like $106,345 for mine. Great deal too, the dealer told me it was a special edition Porsche Z with custom Nissan hamburger logos (very rare - I think I'm #350 out of like 375 since it said 350z on the trunk). The smell of expensive plastic and smooth cloth seats inside reassures me it was definitely a Porsche as well as $106,345 well spent.

I got my Z at 21, and it is my first car. It's a good way to kickstart my credit while having a chance to have something nicer to drive on the side. My dad cosigned it for me so I could start building up credit, and I dropped in my share of $1k for the reserve and down payment.

I also had an '87 200SX beater since HS (purchased in '87). I share it with my dad since he goes fishing with it, and his daily driver is a Z32TT. It fell apart 2 years ago, so now I'm left with the Z and dad bought the Xterra as his mode of transportation for fishing and hauling a small boat.

Dad only paid for the first 1.5-2 years of it. The upgrades, maintenance, etc. I took care of. Now I'm taking care of the rest, and have 6 more months to go!

In summary, don't expect your parents "buy" you a nice car. My parents simply "kick started" the purchase as a gift since the beater was slowly falling apart. We didn't want to waste money on another beater and wanted something to compliment my dad's Z32TT, so that's why we chose the Z.

Yea but, only reason its not 100% in my name is because I don't have the credit for it now. He cosigned and I make all the payments..

Trust fund?? pppsssttt Every teen on here has a korpourration, makes mad investments, and pulls in $250,000 a year.

He has no need for trust funds... He is teenager, hear him roar.

I'm just picking. There were two teens that claimed to make $250,000 a year which is where that came from. And other kid said he made the money (to buy a new Viper and motorcycle) from his Korpurashun (he spelled it kinda like that too).

Damn... I would shank a newb for that much over time. I work three 12 hour shifts a week, that's it. I'm thinking about getting a part time job because I'm bored as hell by the third day off.

Dont waste your money on a Z. You will spend more money replacing tires(feathering) than you will on the car.
